Please meet MONTAGUE. He was made last year by the very talented artist Lyn Clapham of Brimbin Forest Bears, Australia. This oldie has been made from curly mohair hand dyed and antiqued in a lovely vintage white colour. He has been extensively aged to achieve that much loved - cared for and out of the attic look.

Montague has hand dyed pure wool fabric for his foot pads. He has a wobble jointed head with black genuine boot button eyes and a perle cotton sewn nose. His arms and legs are loose split pin jointed and he has been filled with top quality wool fill and a mixture of poly-pellet and smooth glass beads to give him a nice weighty feeling.

This lovely chap wears stained vintage style dungarees and is kept company but his companion (a green Murano glass frog - which comes in a lovely small black oriental style drawstring pouch.

Sadly due to preparing for a house move, he hasn't been out of his box! Only to take these photos. He is therefore in a brand new condition as are his artist tags.
