Please meet Sebastien the Panda. He is 35 cm tall from the tip of his ear to the sole of his foot (23.5 cm in his sitting position as he cannot stand). He has been created from two colours of mohair in black and an ivory/cream colour. He has been fairly loosely jointed with 5 cotter-pins and has been filled with premium polyfil and a little steel shot added to his tummy to give him a little weight. He sees the world through premium black English glass eyes and has a black perle cotton embroidered nose and mouth.

His paws have been made from quality wool felt in a black/dark charcoal colour and he has been given pulled toes (3D). All of Sebastien’s seams have been fray checked and hand stitched using a good quality strong doubled thread. He is 100% hand stitched.

I have made him a neck ruff using genuine antique fine lace which has been gathered onto a piece of black grosgrain ribbon and is secured with a popper. I have attached a couple of pearl beads here for decoration.

Sebastian wears a striking gold, blue and pearl pendant (faux costume jewellery) around his neck on a thick black thread. I found this pendant in a local market and thought it would be the perfect finishing touch for him.

Sebastien is a one of a kind bear and will arrive at his new home carefully wrapped and boxed with his artist hang tag.

Please note this bear is NOT suitable for children as he contains small components which could be a choking hazard.
