Solitude is a gorgeous bear made from a lovely cream long wavy schulte mohair.He has cream woolfelt paw and footpads.He has black glass eyes and I have added some pale brown shading to enhance his looks.He also has pale brown shading around his mouth and nose.His nose has been hand stitched with black perle cotton.I have filled Solitude with heavyweight polyester and he has a bag of steel shot enclosed for added weight so he is a nice weight to hold.He has a sewn in label and a newly designed swing tag.Solitude is one of a kind.
I am pleased to say that I won 3rd place in the British Bear Artist Awards 2010 with my miniature bear Benjamin and in 2011 I won 2nd place in the miniature section with Barnaby,3rd place with my 5 inch elephant Norma and 3rd place with my 16 inch traditional bear Rufus.
