I seem to have been making a lot of boy bears lately. Sometimes they just turn out that way. However, this bear definitely turned out to be a girl. And for those of you who love lavenders and pinks, she would be perfect. The bear is made out of a lavender and creamy white mohair, with lavender paw pads. She is wearing a grosgrain ribbon is a lovely pink with white polka dots. She has a pink flower next to her ear and carries a pink flower bouquet on her paw.

I have done extensive scissor and needle sculpting to her face and have added some color to bring out her features. She has hand blown glass eyes, to which I have added eyelids. I added a double eyelid on the bottom, which gives her a wonderful, expressive look. Her nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 15" standing (which she does not do by herself) and 10" sitting. She is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in her neck. She has a pouch of copper BB�s in her belly for some added weight. She has wool felt paw pads, which have been sculpted and shaded. I have also wired her arms so she has more pose-ability. As with all my creations, she does not have a name. Since she is being adopted, it is up to her new mother or father to give her a name they deem appropriate.

My soft sculptures are adult collectibles and not suitable for small children and are made with the finest materials and are designed and completely hand made by me. All of my creations are one-of-a-kind and take me several days to complete, as I am meticulous in my construction and detail. I will not offer any soft sculpture for sale until I am completely happy with it.
