Thank you for taking a closer look at my little set I called "Mon Petit Macaron". I'm a huge lover of those delicious little French macarons, and decided what would be prettier than some little bears in the pretty pastel colours inspired by the tasty treats. The overall height of the set is 4.5" with the individual bears measuring about 1 5/8" seated. The little bears are handstitched from long pile vintage upholstery velvet, with stainless steel and wool filling, needle and scissor sculpting, and airbrushing. They have string jointed arms and legs, and a cotterpin/disc wobble head joint. They are accessorised with a silk ribbon bow in co-ordinating colours.
My little Macarons will come nestled in their replica Laduree bag (the most famous and most delicious Macaron bakery in Paris!) with the tiny box of clay macarons handmade by myself, and a shiny golden Eiffel Tower. I had the idea to make these bears when I was lucky enough to visit Paris and hunted in all the souvenir shops for some little Towers to bring my idea to life.. You can display the bears in or out of the bag, as you please.
