Thank you for taking a closer look at Lily. Much larger than most of my bears, Lily is approx. 10.5 inches overall, with a seated height of approximately 7.5". Made from a soft cream coloured sparse wavy Kid mohair, Lily has Ultrasuede pawpads and is filled with pure Australian wool and glass sand for a nice snuggly weight. Jointed 5 ways with bolt and disc joints, Lily has airbrushed accents and needle and scissor sculpting to her face.
Lily is the first of what I hope to be many bears inspired by the era of Marie Antoinette. Her fitted silk corset is trimmed with tatted look lace and is laced up the front with silk ribbon. Her double layered skirt is cotton English net. Ever the little lady, Lily is accessorised with a strand of vintage faux pearls draped three times around her neck, a pink ribbon around one wrist, and a headpiece of gorgeous vintage millinery flowers on her head. A few Aurora Borealis crystals sprinkled over the flowers add a little extra sparkle.
