Thank you for stopping by to meet Briar. A larger piece of mine, Briar stands at about 8.5" and is handstitched from matted German mohair in a soft Taupe. She is filled with pure Australian wool and fine glass beads for a nice weighty feel. She is designed to stand. Her eyes are English glass and her face is airbrushed and scissor sculpted. Briar is 5 way jointed with cotterpins and discs, with a wobble head joint.
Briar wears a little non-removable dress made from ecru vintage Point d'Esprit cotton netting with a two layered skirt. A wide dusty Rose coloured silk ribbon ties in a bow at the back, and a matching bow crowns her fuzzy head, with two burgundy velvet Dog Roses adding a final touch.
