Here is the perfect Halloween bear. He is small enough to fit almost everywhere but big enough to be noticed, especially with his adorable face and expression. He is made out of a pumpkin colored Schulte mohair. I tried to enhance the color so you would get a true representation in the pictures. He truly is the color of a pumpkin. I gave him a lacy black collar with some strands of gold woven through it and his very own felt pumpkin (which I did not make). If you wish to display him after Halloween, the collar is elasticized and easily slips over his head. He looks terrific without any adornment, but you can always tie a simple ribbon around his neck.

I have done very extensive scissor and needle sculpting to his face and have added some color to bring out his features. He has hand blown glass eyes around which I have added a double lower eyelid and single upper eyelid. His nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 11" standing and 7-1/2" sitting, which he does not do by himself. He is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in his neck. He has a pouch of copper BB�s in his bottom for a bit of added weight and has wool felt paw pads which have been cathedral sculpted with subtle shading added. As with all my creations, he does not have a name. Since he is being adopted, it is up to his new mother or father to give him a name they deem appropriate.
