This little cutie is all ready to celebrate. Her name is GLORY and she is wearing a snappy stars and stripes bow and her rhinestone flag pin in honor of the day. The bow and pin are removable if you should ever wish to redecorate her for another holiday.

She was featured in the August, 2009 Teddy Bear Review magazine on Page 24. She was also shown on the Table of Contents page.

She is approximately 14" standing (which she does not do by herself) and made out of a white mohair. Her paw pads are made of a dark blue upholstery fabric, and I found floss in the exact color for her hand-stitched nose. The blue shows as almost a black in the photos; however, it is much lighter in person. I hand colored her eyes to match the shade of her nose as closely as I could. I have found too many of the manufactured blue eyes to be such a startling blue that some are almost scary. Her paw pads are cathedral sculpted, and I added some color to her face to approximate the blue of her eyes. I also added an upper and double lower eyelid to the bear to give her more expression.

She is five-way jointed with hardboard disks, and I have wired her arms so she has more pose-ability. As you can see, she is giving a snappy salute in one picture and has her paw over her heart in another.

My soft sculptures are adult collectibles and not suitable for small children and are made with the finest materials and are designed and completely hand made by me. All of my creations are one-of-a-kind and take me several days to complete, as I am meticulous in my construction and detail. I will not offer any soft sculpture for sale until I am completely happy with it.
