This is one big fellow, and he definitely turned out to be a boy. He looks like your typical, inquisitive youngster who is always intrigued with the goings on of the world. He is made out of the most wonderful imported plush in a rich golden tan tipped with a very dark brown tipping. Because it is a fairly long and very dense plush, the bear was very time consuming to make, but I think he is well worth the hours I put into him. Because his face is so expressive, I gave him a simple deep golden satin bow. The most gorgeous butterfly in shades of brown and bronze sits on his hand as he gazes at it in delight.

I have done very extensive scissor and needle sculpting to his face and have added some color to bring out his features. He has hand blown glass eyes to which I have added a single upper eyelid and double lower eyelids. I hand painted his eyes so that they would coordinate with his fur and accessories. His nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 18" standing (which he does not do by himself) and 13" sitting. He is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in his neck. He has a pouch of copper BB�s in his bottom for a bit of added weight and has wool felt paw pads which have been cathedral sculpted with subtle shading added. His arms are also wired to give him more pose-ability. As with all my creations, he does not have a name. Since he is being adopted, it is up to his new mother or father to give him a name they deem appropriate.

My soft sculptures are adult collectibles and not suitable for small children and are made with the finest materials and are designed and completely hand made by me. All of my creations are one-of-a-kind and take me several days to complete, as I am meticulous in my construction and detail. I will not offer any soft sculpture for sale until I am completely happy with it.
