Loufenia is with 40 cm the tallest doll I did. She has such a beautiful face that I could not resist. Her eyes are gray what is not so often and one can see four little teeth perfectly okay. It is an old doll head ( I am not a specialist but I bought it as an old one ) and on the back side is written made in Germany. The body is made from Steiff-Schulte viscose filled with cotton wool and glass granulate what gives her a heavy weight. I am proud of the clothing, the composition of the colors and the different materials. It was like doing a painting and I took my time. Loufenia wears a skirt and a underskirt decorated with very old tissue embroidered with flowers and leaves of very fine metal wire. She has an old border around her body and a clowns collar. The most precious is the flowers ob her head I found in France 🇫🇷 in a brocante shop. It is made of fine golden wire and I have never seen something like this before.
