Coal is made from semi sparse, black mohair, and has velvet type red fabric paw pads.

I have given him orange glass eyes with painted backs so they stand out against his lovely mohair, and he has variegated red embroidery thread for his nose and mouth. He wears a multicolored scarf I knitted for him, and has a sweet rusty tin heart stitched onto his chest.

Coal is a nice, weighty fellow, and is more softly stuffed with poly-fibre with a nice squishy tummy, which contains a pouch of poly-pellets and steel shot, with some steel shot in his feet for added weight.

He is 5 way cotter pin jointed, and has some airbrush shading, giving a lovely old air.
