Sooty and Booty

Sooty is a black mohair cat with glass eyes backed with green felt. She has a waxed orange silk nose and white nylon whiskers. Her ears are lined in black velvet. Her cheeks are linger mohair to give her a more realistic look. Her head is jointed on to a simplistic body with a wired tail. I have filled her with cotton and steel shot.
She comes in a fully lined hand dyed mohair pumpkin.I covered s sponge pudding container to get the right form and rigidity. His little fave is made with vintage buttons amd ric tac braid. This is my take on the old post ard she stands in front off.
