Sammy is 7" tall (he will not stand unaided), and seated is about 5.5" high.
He is made to look old and worn, using 3 different mohairs - a matted and distressed brown mohair for his arms and legs, a semi sparse gold mohair for his body, and a white curled mohair for his head. I have given him lots of age marks and some visible 'mend' type stitching, his collar and hat which I made for him are also aged.

He is 5 way cotter pin jointed, and filled with heavy poly-fibre filling, with some steel shot in his tummy for a nice weight. He has black glass eyes and embroidered features, and airbrush and hand shading.

Sammy is completely hand stitched.
