Evelyn is made from a shaggy, distressed mohair in a gold on a brown backing, and she has brown felt paw pads. The mohair gives her a real old fashioned air, so I gave her double jointed limbs and head, which means her limbs feel loose and loll nicely, and give her lots of poses - also making her very cuddly!
She wears a piece of vintage lace around her neck (not handmade and looks to be a man made fabric), this is fastened with a pretty vintage brooch.
Evelyn is about 15 inches tall, due to her joints she will not stand, and she is about 11.5 inches high seated.
She has quality black glass eyes and embroidered features, and is filled with poly-fibre filling, with some steel shot in her feet, and steel shot and poly pellets in her tummy for a little added weight.
Evelyn is one of a kind.
