Madsen Miniatures is very pleased to introduce you to "Marit" - a one of a kind miniature panda-style winged teddy bear completely designed and handsewn with love by me, Lisa Madsen. She's a darling tiny teddy about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall. She has the centerseam head design and has been made from lovely vintage velvets in an off-white cashmere & a burnished orange & she has hand-drawn and painted designs with sparkles on her ultrasuede footpads - she loves having sparkly feet! Marit is wearing a pretty dark purple lace ribbon headband with a bow around her head with an iridescent glass flower bead accent & she has matching flower beads on the back of each leg & she has black with gold chain wrapped around her neck & torso with a tree of life charm, a iridescent faceted ball charm & a key & she has a drop-style faceted charm hanging down her backside & she has tiny black wire antennae atop her wee head. She has gorgeous semi-transparent iridescent fantasy-style wings in a steampunk style with gears in the design as well as gear-style findings adorning the wings & along her extending wires - so striking! - they were handmade & designed by the talented artist Helen Ranieri & you can adjust them gently. And Marit has a sweet little crystal-eyed owl with a clock tummy attached to her left paw - so sweet! ~:O) Marit's darling little face has been needle and scissor sculpted and has also been shaded & sparkled to bring out her expression. She also has wired arms for different posing positions.

Marit is fully five-way cotterpin and disk jointed; with handblown glass eyes, and a lacquered black pearl cotton nosie & a thread mouth and teeny eyebrows. She is stuffed with polyfil and her little tummy and legs have some bb's in them to give a nice weighted feel in your hand and to help with standing although she's more of a leaner.

Marit will come to you with her own little sewn-on acrylic nametag and I have also initialed the footpad so she's all ready to come to her new hug. She comes from a smoke-free home. And, she is not suitable for young children as she has small parts.
