This gorgeous one-of-a-kind bear is called Coby and he was born 5th June 2011. His creator is the extremely talented soft sculpture artist Kimi Springer of Son Blest Bears. Coby is approximately 12.75" tall and approximately 9" in a sitting position.

I'd like to thank Kimi for allowing me to use her wonderful photographs of Coby.

Coby was created out of curly matted antique brown mohair tipped in black. He's fully five-way jointed with set screws and fibre-board discs and has wire armatures in his arms. Kimi gave him shiny black premium glass eyes to view the world with. Kimi always manages to give her bears such soul in their eyes, it's quite amazing. He has hand shaded premium ultrasuede pawpads and has been extensively scissor and needle sculpted. He is filled with premium fibrefill and stainless steel sand to give him a nice weight. He is in immaculate condition and I have kept him behind glass for the most part, away from sunlight. He comes from a clean and smoke free home.

This is a very sad advertisement for me and I'm reluctant at the prospect of parting with him. I hope he finds a lovely new home where he will continue to be taken care of and admired for many years to come.

He will travel to his new home in his original box together with extensive certification (as you will see in one of the photos I have included). He also has a little wooden name tag sewn onto his back with states his name, date of birth together with Kimi Springer's signature. There is also a little gold cross hanging from the wooden tag that signifies Kimi's strong faith.

He truly is a very special bear.
