Something brand new that we've whipped up to celebrate our favourite 'pocket pets' guinea pigs. We have a rare-breeds cavy stud as our other love, and Texel guinea pigs are up there with one of the most amazingly-coated animals in the species.

For these soft-sculpture plushies, we've used superb quality Mongolian Lambswool for the curls, a luxury kid-mohair for the blaise and belly, felt ears and feet, Black German glass eyes with our hand-sculptured polymer clay lids and stuffed with eco-stuffing and stainless steel beads for weight.

They're a mini-size, probably about the size of 2-3week old guinea pigs. But made to resemble a young adult texel in coat.

The guinea pig available here is 'Winter' (shown in photo 1 and 3). She is a dark-eyed white. The other photos show other texels we've made (who have since been adopted), and one of my real texel pets next to one of our plushies.

Postage quoted is basic airmail. For registered post you will need to add on an additional $3.50 within Australia and an additional $10 worldwide.
