My name is Estelle Lichtenberger-Froehling, I live in Luxembourg / Europe, more precisely in Gonderange, a small town near Junglinster.
I like antiques and the special charm that items radiate from times past and passionately love to visit antique markets.
I use high quality materials to make my teddy bears.
All the bears are based on my own pattern and sewn exclusively by hand, I do not use a sewing machine.
I especially like to work with German mohair fabrics from Steiff-Schulte.
Hands and paws are mostly made out of wool felt, sometimes I also use vintage fabrics.
I artificially age and color some bears with artist pastels to give them a worn and well-loved appearance.
They come with high-quality glass eyes, their noses are embroidered with pearl thread.
Arms, legs and head are 5-way jointed.
The bears are filled with wood wool (90%) and a small amount of fiberfill (10%), as well as wood chips (for smaller bears). I use glass granules as well as steel granules for extra weight.
To underline the vintage character of my bears, I largely refrain from clothing, most bears are therefore undressed, but always wear a small accessory such as bow, bell or scarf.
I love to browse flea or antique markets and sometimes find little treasures there, which will later beautify my bears.
My bears are available in different sizes, from 19 to 55 cm (7.4 to 21.6 inches).
Before purchasing, check the size information, which always refers to the standing position of the bear.
The colors on the photos may differ slightly from the original.
Each bear comes with a certificate of authenticity, including his name and details.
The bears are not suitable for children to play, collector bears exclusively.
They come from a non-smoking home.
