Madsen Miniatures is very pleased to introduce you to "Christmas" - a one of a kind miniature butterfly teddy bear born on Christmas day, completely designed and handsewn with love by me, Lisa Madsen. She's a darling tiny teddy about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall. She has the centerseam head design and has been made from lovely vintage long pile velvets in an off-white cashmere & a green velvet & a red velvet & she has hand-drawn and painted holly berries & leaves designs with sparkles on her ultrasuede footpads - she loves having sparkley feet! Christmas is wearing tiny little metallic gift bows in silver & green by her ears & she has a collar necklace of transparent red glass beads. She also has tiny black wire antennae atop her wee head. She has OOAK lovely semi-opaque butterfly-style Christmas wings with pretty candy cane borders with holly leaves & berries on green designs - so lovely! - they were handmade & designed by the talented artist Patricia Legg & you can adjust them very gently. And Christmas has a sweet little metallic & enamel candy cane with holly attached to her left arm - so cute! ~:O) Christmas's darling little face has been needle and scissor sculpted and has also been shaded & sparkled to bring out her expression. She also has wired arms for different posing positions.

Christmas is fully cotterpin and disk jointed; with handblown glass eyes, and a lacquered black pearl cotton nosie & a thread mouth and teeny eyebrows. She is stuffed with polyfil and her little tummy and legs have some bb's in them to give a nice weighted feel in your hand and to help with standing although she's more of a leaner.

Christmas will come to you with her own little sewn-on acrylic nametag and I have also initialed the footpad so she's all ready to come to her new hug. She comes from a smoke-free & pet-free home. And, Christmas is not suitable for young children as she has small parts.
