To herald the impending arrival of Spring in Australia, I’d like you to meet LILAC – a new 10” bear I have not offered before for sale – this girl has been hand-sewn with much love and attention to detail. Standing at 10”, Lilac has been crafted from the best quality dense long-pile alpaca in snowy white.

LILAC's striking English glass starburst eyes have been meticulously hand-painted in shades of silver and grey with shimmering black sparkling highlights, and have been set in eyelids needle felted from white merino wool to compliment her fur. I have extensively needle sculpted her face before needle felting her muzzle in the same white wool to give her face a winsome, feminine smile. I then spent a lot of time shading her face with copic markers and dry brushing with oil paints to add depth of colour. Her nose is needlefelted in a realistic style from lilac-coloured merino wool which I have sanded and sealed to give a firm, matt finish. Her paw pads have also been needle felted and shaded with oil paints, and are finished with deep purple hand-crafted clay claws.

LILAC is 5-way jointed with locknuts and cotter pin neck and her arms have been wired so she can be posed in various positions. She is filled with poly fill and a little steel shot for a nice weighty feel.

LILAC wears a shimmery gossamer ribbon collar adorned with a purple and pink infusion of flowers, and holds a bouquet of similar flowers adorned with a trail of wispy fine ribbon in shades of mauve, lilac and white.

You will find that I am meticulous in my attention to detail, which is why my bears take some time to finish to my complete satisfaction. Like all Nikkel Bears, LILAC has been lovingly made in a non-smoking environment and is intended as an adult’s collectable, not a child’s toy.

Return and Refund Policy
All Nikkel Bears are crafted and shipped without faults, and are shipped with tracking and insurance by Australia Post and information is communicated with buyers.
A full investigation will be raised with Australia Post should any item arrived severely damaged or be deemed to be lost in transit, and pending the result of this investigation, a case for refund to the buyer may be considered.
Refunds for any other reason are not available.
