Hello and thank you for stopping by to meet "Tahiti" the South Sea Princess. Sitting a petite 2" small approx, or approx 2 1/4" overall, Tahiti is hand stitched from lightest tan and oyster white vintage long pile velvet, with 5 cotterpin and disc joints. She is filled with pure wool and a touch of stainless steel shot for weight, and has black glass eyes, a needle and scissor sculpted face, and a touch of airbrushing to accent her sweet features.
Tahiti nestles in her little shell shaped enamelled golden metal home, which was previously a little trinket box. Enamelled in a rich cream, with rhinestone accents, it is lined with a sea green silk velvet cushion for her to sit comfortably on. Tahiti wears a fluffy silk tulle skirt, echoing the sea foam on the waves, and a genuine freshwater pearl tiara (handmade by me). In one paw she holds a strand of genuine freshwater pearls, reminding her of her South Pacific home, wherever she goes.
