Introducing Ripley, my new OOAK baby panda from my Chubby Cubby range, with the most appealing little face and he just wants a cuddle! Hand-sewn from soft white and latte coloured dense pile German alpaca (my favourite!), Ripley measures 10” standing.

Like all of my bears, I have spent a lot of time custom hand-painting Ripley’s English glass eyes in a vivid baby-blue with silver and black highlights. His eyelids are needlefelted from white Merino wool, and I have also needlesculpted, and then needlefelted his face in the same white wool to create his winsome ‘pick me’ look! His nose is also needlefelted in a chocolate coloured Merino wool in a realistic style, which I then sanded and sealed.

Ripley is 5-way jointed, with a cotter pin neck and locknut limbs. I have wired his arms so you will be able to pose him in various positions. He is filled with polyester and a little steel shot for a nice weighty feel. I made his trapunto style paw pads from real beige-coloured leather and finished his paws with clay claws in a neutral colour. To create a depth of colour and give him his character, I shaded this baby panda using dry-brushed oil paints in several layers. I also hand-made Ripley’s scarf from a unique type of fringed wool/cotton in variegated shades of deep blue through to aquamarine and teal.

Like all Nikkel Bears, Ripley has been made by me with love and a great deal of attention to detail using only the finest quality materials. He will arrive safe & sound on your doorstep beautifully packaged with his own personalised story card and Nikkel Bears hang tag. Ripley has been crafted as an adult collectable and is not suitable for small children.

Return and Refund Policy
All Nikkel Bears are crafted and shipped without faults, and are shipped with tracking and insurance by Australia Post and information is communicated with buyers.
A full investigation will be raised with Australia Post should any item arrived severely damaged or be deemed to be lost in transit, and pending the result of this investigation, a case for refund to the buyer may be considered.
Refunds for any other reason are not available.
