While it's not Spring in my corner of the world, it is my favourite season, and Spring brings the Ladybugs! My little Ladybug sits about 2 1/4" small, or about 2 1/2" overall. She is hand stitched from gorgeous vintage long pile velvet in shades of gold and ruby red, and jointed with 5 cotter pin and disc joints. Ladybug is filled with pure wool and a bit of stainless steel shot for a teeny bit of weight, and has airbrushing accenting her sparkling black glass eyes.
Ladybug wears a little removable Ladybug hat and cape, accented with jet black Swarovski crystals for her spots, and black beads make her 'antenna', tying under her chin with a silk ribbon bow.
