I am so pleased to bring to you little Wilbert, I love this little bear! I want to keep him for myself . . . but I have to be good and let him go. He is made from a piece of gorgeous genuine vintage velvet/chenille that I bought from a wonderful antiques shop, as soon as I saw this material I just had to have it! I could already see the beautiful little bears that could be created from it, the colour is a wonderful deep antique gold with silky shiny sheens and glorious clusters of cute little ripples & tufty bits, irresistable! This will be a limited edition until all the fabric has been used, but you can guarantee each bear created will be unique & individual due to the very nature of the fabric alone.

Wilbert is just 4 inches, approx 3 inches when sitting, he is fully jointed (5 ways).

*** Firmly filled with a magical mix of micro steel weighting and quality heavy polyester, he is not a loose beanbag style - but quite sturdy & firm & able to sit & stand alone without being propped up, but he is also soft enough in all the right places ***

A special little design, years in the making!, a very traditional style bear, but with my cute twist, like his chunkiness and foldy tummy, arms and legs which seem to curl into his body, and an irresistable cute face with quirky little ears, an embroidered worn effect nose, needle sculpted black glass eyes and Pooh style eyebrows, finally finished with very subtle plum shaded cheeks.

He will arrive to you in a sweet little presentation package, plus an antique style charm, & complete with miniature adoption certificate of authenticity.

This gorgeous little bear is very carefully designed and created to be 'all about the bear' with no need to hide his cute 'bearness' in clothes.
