Happy Holidays from Kat’s Korner. This awesome one-of-a-kind bear is Naneso by the amazing and very talented artist Melisa Nichols of Melisa’s Bears. Naneso means “my child” in the Cheyenne language. This beautiful bear is 14 inches long (big for Melisa’s bears) and loaded with details. He’s made of very soft and realistic dark brown faux fur with a mink muzzle and inner ears. His face is extensively thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and shaded. This bear has soulful black glass eyes with moveable eyelids so he can appear awake or very sleepy.

Naneso has a hand-sculpted, hand painted epoxy clay nose sealed with a matte finish outside and a glossy (“wet”) finish inside. His inner ears are shaded and he has a lower lip made of leather cording. He has big baby paws with leather pads that are thread sculpted and shaded. He also has hand carved clay claws that have been shaded and sealed. This bear has full armature (including his adorable little tail) and he is stuffed (not firmly to allow armature movement) with Polyfil and pellets.

This very special bear is complete with beautiful COA and swing tag. Naneso is a collector’s item and NOT intended for children. He’s always been behind glass and he’s in outstanding/like new condition from a very clean, smoke-free home.
