I'm so chuffed to be able to introduce you to 'Rhubarb the Pig'! This is a brand new design for Emma's Bears, and Rhubarb is the first pig to ever come out of our studio.

He's also extra special due to his unique mohair - which has been naturally dyed using rhubarb. ( if you're interested we have more photos and details on our blog). The result of the rhubarb dyeing was a soft, dusky pink fur - which was PERFECT for making a pig - and ultimately the inspiration for little Rhubarb Pig.

Rhubarb is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed well with a mix of polyfill and steel shot. He looks out through deluxe black glass eyes and has a decent amount of silk-dye and inktense shading to give him a grubby 'just rolled out of the pig pen' look!

He also has a sweet little piggy tail, and wears a simple (fully removable) pastel blue gingham print bow around his neck. Rhubarb is a one of a kind artist critter.
