Although this is not a traditional Valentine bear, she would fill the bill perfectly. But she is not so holiday specific that she could not be displayed year round. She is made out of a peachy pink Schulte mohair and wears a black and light gray chiffon ruffled collar, which might not show up well in her photos. She is also wearing a heart in a dark bronze color. I have done extensive scissor and needle sculpting to her face and have added some color to bring out her features. She has hand blown glass eyes, to which I have added eyelids. I added a double eyelid on the bottom, which gives her a wonderful, expressive look. Her nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 14" standing (which she does not do by herself) and 10" sitting. She is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in her neck. She has a pouch of copper BB�s in her belly for some added weight. She has wool felt paw pads, which have been sculpted and shaded. I have also wired her arms so she has more pose-ability. As with most of my creations, she does not have a name. Since she is being adopted, it is up to her new mother or father to give her a name they deem appropriate.
