I am very pleased to introduce to you Bijou, a miniature mohair bear which has been sympathetically aged and worn, like he has just been found in an old attic!

Bijou means 'A small and delicately worked piece'

The mohair is of high quality direct from Germany, a really lovely colour like a pale milk chocolate, and he is fully jointed, very heavily weighted! giving a wonderful quality feel to this little bear.

He is a real character, his face has a delicately embroidered nose which has been lightly waxed and shaded around the edge, and plum coloured blushing cheeks, his ears are placed for a very endearing look! definitely a one-off creation.

He wears a claret coloured hat made from 100% German wool felt with a rusty jingle bell, and a velvet ribbon with a rusty liberty bell attached.

Bijou has vintage style worn stitching on his right ear, left arm, and right paw pad, and a cute heart patch on his wrinkly tummy for that cute finishing touch!

He sits at approx 3.5 inches including hat, and stands approx 4.5 inches.

He will arrive in his own handmade felt pouch with ribbon tie, and a miniature bottle containing adoption details and a secret message!

All completely hand stitched to the highest and exacting standards with precision and attention to tiny details. Exquisite little works of art made to be treasured for many years to come.
