Say hello to Tai Ping, the newest in my In The Garden embroidery bear series. Tai Ping means "Peaceful" in Chinese, which fits as the panda bear originates from China. Tai Ping is made from vintage upholstery velvet in an off white and hand dyed baby blue vintage upholstery velvet, and his paw pads are a cream coloured ultrasuede. He stands 4.5 inches high. Tai Ping has black onyx bead eyes, and a hand sewn nose in a brown pearle cotton. His face has been extensively needle sculpted, and shaded for depth and character. Tai Ping has been embroidered with bamboo in silk ribbon. Tai Ping comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Contact me with any questions.
