Hello and thank you for stopping by for a closer look at Betsy. Handstitched from curly mohair in a light taupe colour, Betsy is filled with pure Australian wool and tiny glass beads for a nice weight. She has cotterpin and disc joints, with a wobble head. Her eyes are blown glass and her little face is airbrushed. Betsy measures just over 2.5" seated, or almost 3.5" standing.
Betsy wears a dress of cotton Antique lace, with a velvet ribbon sash threaded through an Aurora Borealis heart shaped buckle. I handmade her little hat from hand-dyed millinery straw and decorated it with tulle, feather, a vintage millinery flower and a sprinkling of sparkling Swarovski crystals.
