Thank you for stopping by to take a closer look at my new design, Little Boy Blue. This little guy is unusual for me because he *is* a little boy:) I have made very few boy bears, but after several people asking lately if I had ever made little boys to go with my little girls, I thought it was obviously time!
He has 5 cotterpin and disc joints, with a wobble head, and he is handstitched in German mohair in pretty creamy colour. He is filled with pure Australian wool and glass beads for weight. His eyes are English blown glass and his little face is airbrushed and needle and scissor sculpted.
Little Boy Blue's pants are made from silk fabric with tiny Mother of Pearl buttons. I made his Hobby Horse from Sassy long pile velvet, with a silk plush mane, and I also handmade his little straw Boater hat from fine Swiss Millinery straw.
