Please meet Tilly, A finalist in the British Bear Artist Awards 2010 in category 5.
Tilly has appeared in The Teddy Bear Times Magazine.

'Tilly' was inspired by the famous poem by William Blake 'The Tyger' Tilly is made from beautiful soft 22mm Schulte Mohair, she is approx 9.5 inches high and has cashmere paws and ears. She has a hand embroidered belly and footpads which echo the words of Blake's famous poem.

This is one of my original designs and is meticulously hand sewn on an embroidery frame, a process which takes several days to complete.

Tilly is number 100 in the Bears of Bath series and comes carefully packed in a box with a signed and numbered Bears of Bath certificate.

She is fully cotterpin jointed and is filled with dense polyester stuffing and has plastic pellets added for extra weight. She has 7 mm English Black glass eyes which gives her a very appealing look. Her nose is made from hand embroidered cotton which has been varnished. She also has a Bears of Bath label sewn into her back.

Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007 Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Club International.
Bears of Bath has just been nominated for a British Bear Artist Award for 2010

Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
