I love the way this little girl turned out. She has one of the sweetest faces. The bear is made out of a curly, matted Schulte mohair in a pale cream with sienna tipping. I have tried to reproduce the color as faithfully as I can, but pictures cannot do it justice. It is another one of those wonderful mohairs that is no longer available, and it is one of my favorites. Since I did not want to cover up her gorgeous color, I gave her a simple chiffon ribbon in a slightly darker shade of sienna.

I have done extensive scissor and needle sculpting to her face and have added some color to bring out her features. She has hand blown glass eyes, to which I have added a double lower eyelid and single upper eyelid, which gives her a wonderful, expressive look. Her nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 12" standing (which she does not do by herself) and 8" sitting. She is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in her neck. She has a pouch of copper BB�s in her belly for some added weight. She has wool felt paw pads, which have been sculpted and shaded. I have also wired her arms so she has more pose-ability. As with all my creations, she does not have a name. Since she is being adopted, it is up to her new mother or father to give her a name they deem appropriate.

My soft sculptures are adult collectibles and not suitable for small children and are made with the finest materials and are designed and completely hand made by me. All of my creations are one-of-a-kind and take me several days to complete, as I am meticulous in my construction and detail. I will not offer any soft sculpture for sale until I am completely happy with it.
