A Tribute To Michael Jackson
From an original design and painting by Carol Birkeland-Green BA (hons)
This bear has an original Bears Of Bath design on his 'Bear Belly' making him a truely unique little bear.

This bear is number 80 in the 'Bear Bellies' series
and comes with a Bears of Bath Numbered and Signed Certificate. If you would like to adopt this bear please get in touch and let me know what you would like this bear to be called. I can then print this onto his certificate for you.

This little bear was created as a tribute to Michael Jackson, and has not only a highly detailed canvas miniature painting of a portrait of Michael Jackson, but also has his name and dates of when he was born and when sadly, he passed away

The miniature painted panel, acrylic on canvas, measures approx 6 cms in diameter and the fine details are painted using a 5x0 and 10x0 paintbrush!

Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters & a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007
Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Club International.

Bear no.80 is approx 8 inches tall and is made from sparse pebble mohair. He is fully cotterpin jointed with 7mm English black glass eyes and has cashmere on his paws. He is stuffed using heavy polyester stuffing with some plastic beads to give a bit of weight. His nose has been embroidered and then varnished to give it a glossy look. There is also a Bears of Bath label sewn into the back of the bear.

Hand painted onto heavy top quality artists cotton canvas the painting is tough and durable, however machine washing the bears is not recommended.
The canvas is fully primed using several layers and then painted with quality Daler acrylics.The painting also has several layers of varnish to seal and protect the painting.

The canvas has no noticable odour and is quite flexible.
Repeat copies of this design can be supplied on request if required.

This bear is hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home.
Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
I only use the best quality materials in my bear making and all materials are sourced from reputable bearmaking suppliers.
