It’s almost cherry blossom season 🌸 and to celebrate, I’m pleased to introduce my new panda Yīnghuā (Chinese translation- Cherry Blossom).
She is designed to be seated, but can stand assisted, and measures 30cm seated, 38cm standing.
Hand sewn from traditional black and white Steiff/Schulte alpaca, with toffee coloured ultra suede trapunto paw pads and toes, clay claws, needle felted face/eyelids/nose using quality Australian merino wool, nose sanded & sealed. Eye patches have been re-rooted with individual black alpaca fibres. Hand painted English glass eyes, wired ears, locline spine and arms, disc joints. Filled with polyester and steel shot. Shaded with dry-brushed oil paints and artists pastels.

Yīnghuā wears a hand-made cherry blossom floral wreath, decorated with diamantés and faux crystal beads, silk flowers and buds in cherry blossom colours of pinks and whites. At each end of the headpiece, I have added authentic Chinese lucky cat bell charms which hang from white satin ribbons. I have also made Jīnghuā’s white Chinese satin embossed collar which is decorated with cherry blossom silk flowers, and can be removed easily.

Additional Notes: all Nikkel Bears are made as adult collectibles and are not meant for small children. Each bear wears a Nikkel Bears embroidered tush tag, will arrive securely packaged, with their own Certificate of Authenticity.

Layaway terms: non-refundable deposit of AUD$250 will secure this bear for your own hug. . Following deposit payment, layaways are to be completed within 8 weeks.

Return and Refund Policy
All Nikkel Bears are crafted and shipped without faults, and are shipped with tracking and insurance by Australia Post and information is communicated with buyers.
A full investigation will be raised with Australia Post should any item arrived severely damaged or be deemed to be lost in transit, and pending the result of this investigation, a case for refund to the buyer may be considered.
Refunds for any other reason are not available.
