Meet Lei-Loo a Pink Orchid Mantis of my own creation. There are many types of Mantids, but none as tiny or delicate as the Pink Orchid Mantis.

Lei-Loo is constructed with the needle - felt method over wire armature, stiffened and tinted with pastels and acrylic paints. Parts of her head, wing casement, legs are all
sculpted with polymer clay. Eyes are hand-painted glass, wings are stiffened hand-painted silk. Then after all that work I began adding extensive beadwork in greens, pinks, and white.

Lei-Loo is fairly static, but her head turns and her wings can be spread outward or straight as you prefer. I guarantee you'll never see another Mantis like Lei-Loo! She comes with artist tags, Certificate of Authenticity and my hand-made Pink Orchid flower.

Lei-Loo is 14 inches from nose to tail tip, 7 inches from ground to top of head and 9 inches wide.
