Seasons greetings everyone! Please meet my latest creation Bobby the Emperor penguin! He is a large statement piece and measure an impressive 28 inches tall and 31 inches in length from his head to the base of his tail. He would look beautiful displayed in any home at Christmas and throughout the year!
He is one of my special mixed media soft sculptures and completely one of a kind. He is very special as I do not make many of these large mixed media animal pieces as they are extremely time consuming to create! His realistic head, wings, tail and back are created from premium black and white Schulte mohair fabric and his feet and beak are created via a unique mixed media technique and hand painted by myself for a realistic look.
He has a strong but lightweight semi hollow non moveable solid armature base, so despite his large size he is still very easy to move around and not heavy. The front of his body has been carefully hand painted by myself using top quality archival artist paints. I have painted a beautiful abstract Pattern on his body using shades of irredesant silver, ice blue, green and white paint, it glitters beautifully when the light hits it! The portrait painting on his body is very detailed and has been built up in many fine layers, It tells the story of a penguin family featuring two hand painted male and female emperor penguins along with their two baby penguins. I have painted them on an iceberg which is starting to melt, a reminder of the impact we as humans have on the planet.
I have also realistically shaded his head. His eyes are hand painted glass with hand sculpted eye rims.
He will come to his new home with his Hayley walker original design ribbon, hang tag and sewn in label as well as his certificate of authenticity.
Bobby has also been created in a clean and smoke free studio.

Each bear / animal will come to their new home securely packed and nicely presented. They are all made in a completely smoke free environment / studio. All shipping includes tracking and insurance.

Return and Refund Policy
I really hope you love your new critter, but if for any reason you are unhappy, please let me know by emailing me and I will do my very best to help you. The bear must be returned in original condition and carefully packed via an insured and tracked delivery service. A refund will then be given within 14 days of me receiving the returned item. Refunds do not include return delivery charges.
