This little girl is dressed in one of my many vintage doll dresses. This one is probably not as old as some of my others, because it is permanent press. It is a wonderful pink dotted Swiss with a band of white tatted hearts across the bodice. The dress opens completely down the back and fastens with snaps. I placed a simple pink bow on her head to give her that real girlie look.

The bear is made out of a tan Schulte mohair. I have done extensive scissor and needle sculpting to her face and have added some color to bring out her features. She has hand blown glass eyes, to which I have added eyelids. I added a double eyelid on the bottom, which gives her a wonderful, expressive look. Her nose is hand embroidered with pearl cotton.

The bear is about 14" standing and 10" sitting (she cannot stand by herself). She is five way jointed with hard board disks, locks nuts and a cotter pin in her neck. She has a pouch of copper BB�s in her belly for some added weight. She has wool felt paw pads, which have been sculpted and shaded. I have also wired her arms so she has more pose-ability. As with all my creations, she does not have a name. Since she is being adopted, it is up to her new mother or father to give her a name they deem appropriate.
