Meet this hedgehog named Melvin! The charming baby is not prickly at all, he is soft and fluffy. Melvin hides under an apple leaf and looks out curiously from under it.
The hedgehog is made of mohair. It is fully movable: the legs and head are attached with cotter pins. The ears and eyelids are made of genuine leather, and the nose is molded from polymer clay. The leaf, modeled by hand and painted with acrylic paints, effectively complements the image of the hedgehog. If you look closely, you can notice two large beetles in the folds of the leaf, which are also handmade.
