Thank you for looking at my original Octopus mixed-media soft sculpture! This piece was entered in the Flagstaff Wool and Fiber Festival June 3-4th 2023 and won People's Choice Award! 😀 this is one of my favorite sculpts - so far!

Octopus is made by needle felt method over wire armature. Legs are static and wired in the pose you observe. This is 20 x 18 x 10 inches. Some of the components you see are polymer clay, porcelain clay, needlefelt wool, merino wool, mohair, silk, glass, pvc, art yarns, metal, wood.

My wish is to create Octopus with ocean algae and coral growing on its skin - an Octopus garden if you will. I hope you like it!
