Introducing Avery, a beautiful and graceful ballerina bear.
Hand-sewn from luscious honey-coloured Shulte mohair with a 25mm pile and a silky finish.
Her face has been extensively needle felted using quality Australian merino wool, which I have shaded by blending pastels.
Her eyelids and nose are also needle felted, then sanded, sealed and shaded.
I have hand-painted her custom English glass eyes in natural browns, blacks and gold colours.
Trapunto paw pads from taupe coloured ultra suede, with hand-crafted polymer clay claws, sanded and shaded with blended pastels.
She has a locline spine, so her head can be tilted in many different directions.
Arms and legs hav disc and locknut joints, with locline also fitted so all limbs can be bent.
Filled with polyester and a little steel shot in her tummy for a nice weighty feel. I have stuffed the tips of her paws with ginned cotton for a more firm feel.
I designed and created her ballerina tutu from baby pink and white polka dot tulle, and attached silk faux roses. Her tutu is secured by a pink organza ribbon, and can be removed.
Avery wears a feminine headband of silk faux roses, and a genuine Swarovski crystal flower pendant around her neck.
Her butterfly wand was made by me.
Made in a non-smoking home, and like all Nikkel Bears original creations, Avery will arrive with her own Certificate of Authenticity and an embroidered tush-tag.

All Nikkel Bears are crafted and shipped without faults, and are shipped with tracking and insurance by Australia Post and information is communicated with buyers.
A full investigation will be raised with Australia Post should any item arrived severely damaged or be deemed to be lost in transit, and pending the result of this investigation, a case for refund to the buyer may be considered.
Refunds for any other reason are not available.
