Introducing Bennie, a darling little clown bear.
Designed to be seated, he measures 30cm from the tips of his ears to his feet.
Hand sewn from a beautiful silver-beige Schulte mohair, with trapunto paw pads handcrafted from ultra suede, which I have shaded multiple times with pastels to create depth of colour. I have also handcrafted his claws from taupe coloured polymer clay.
His muzzle and eyelids were extensively needle felted using quality Australian merino wool, and his nose and eyelids were then sanded and sealed multiple times, before shading with pastels.
Bennie's English glass eyes were custom painted for him, to compliment his fur colour, using shades of sapphire, silver and black.
Bennie has a locline spine to allow mobility in his neck, and also in his arms. He is joined using locknuts and discs.
I have filled Bennie with polyester fill, and opted for ginned cotton in the ends of his paws to give more firmness and stability. He has steel shot in his tummy to give him a nice weighty feel.
Bennie is a Gumnut Baby clown bear - I created his hat and collar from licensed May Gibbs gum nut babies fabric collection, and added black guipere lace trim to his collar, and finished with gum nut babies ribbon. His entire costume is removable.
Bennie has been completely made by me in a smoke free home.
He is an adult collectible, and is unsuitable for small children.
Like all original one-of-a-kind Nikkel Bears, Bennie will arrive safely packaged, complete with his own Certificate of Authenticity and embroidered tush-tag.
Layaway is available, and an AUD$200 non-refundable deposit will secure Bennie for your own hug.
Layaways to be completed within 6 weeks of initial deposit payment.

Layaway terms: non-refundable deposit of AUD$250 will secure this bear for your own hug. . Following deposit payment, layaways are to be completed within 8 weeks.

Return and Refund Policy
All Nikkel Bears are crafted and shipped without faults, and are shipped with tracking and insurance by Australia Post and information is communicated with buyers.
A full investigation will be raised with Australia Post should any item arrived severely damaged or be deemed to be lost in transit, and pending the result of this investigation, a case for refund to the buyer may be considered.
Refunds for any other reason are not available.
