Mavis is 11 inches tall and created from pretty hand dyed pale mint green (very pale) vintage style German mohair. She is five way cotter pin jointed with a wobble joint neck. Her pretty face has been needle and scissor sculpted, her eyes are black glass, she has hand shading for an all over aged and loved look. Her embroidered chocolate nose has been waxed to match her waxed claws which compliment her aged cream velvet cashmere paw pads. She has been filled with wood wool and steel shot in her body and paws for a lovely cuddly weight.
Mavis wears a dainty cream frock created from silk dupion and soft floaty pleated tulle finished with silk crinkle rayon ribbon all in cream and a pretty vintage brooch. Her lovely comfy hand knitted mustard cardigan is finished with stunning pearl and diamond buttons and mustard pure silk ribbons. Her adorable hand made ankle strap shoes are mustard real leather patent with strawberry red stained real leather soles (made by a traditional cobbler) they are finished with pearl and diamond buckles on her ankles and toes. To complete Mavis's dainty girl look she wears a chartreuse pure silk bow around her head and a lovely string of creamy vintage pearls around her neck. Mavis is one of a kind and comes with her certificate of authenticity.
