Madagascan sunset moth
Chrysiridia rhipheus, the Madagascan sunset moth, is a species of day-flying moth of the family Uraniidae. It is considered one of the most impressive and attractive butterfly species. The combination of velvety black stripes and optical interference in the iridescent parts of the wings is strikingly beautiful.

Size: wingspan 4.2" (10,7 cm), body length 1.4" (3,5 cm).
The realistic butterfly is made of polymer clay. It was created entirely by hand with high degree of detail. The legs, antennae and wings of the toy have wire frame and can be set in different positions. There is a magnet inside the body, so the butterfly can be used as a brooch with an additional external magnet or attached to a metal surface. Tinted with pastel and acrylic paints, covered with flock.
Materials: polymer clay, wire, magnets, threads, flock.

The butterfly was born in a non-smoking home.
