Rosea Cortaderia a Capability Bear

I'm very pleased to introduce you to a very special and luxurious bear called Rosea Cortaderia Her name is inspired from the beautiful colour of the Rosea Cortaderia plant, an ornamental grass.

Created especially for Carol's Bears of Bath

This fur is so luxurious and changes shade with every glance or change of light. This is the long soft grey peacock faux fur, long pale pink and also lovely long white faux fur, she has been a joy to model.

This bear has to be one of the most beautiful and soft that I have worked with and I enjoyed every moment modelling her
.
This beautiful Capability Bear has been a labour of love spanning several days. I really wanted to sculpt her carefully and really bring to life. Every part of her is created from new patterns designed to bring out something completely new.
Her head has been carefully scissor sculpted over many hours and then gently shaded using acrylic paints to accent shadows and give her personality and life. She also has two sweet paper roses in her hair.

She has 12mm English Black Glass eyes with brown eyelids. Her nose has been made from pink faux cashmere, airbrushed in brown, then carefully sewn into place.

She is fully cotterpin jointed and filled with dense polyester filling for extra weight. When standing She is approx 11 inches high. She has pretty pink ear and foot pads. She has a fabric 'carolsbearsofbath' satin ribbon in Royal Blue and gold lettering, sewn into her back.

She will arrive at her new home, carefully wrapped in a strong box, with her 'Carols bBears of Bath' certificate of authenticity.

This beautiful Capability Bear is number 3098 in the Certificated Series
