Well, while your imagination describes you all the precious moments you experiense with this creature together, let me tell you few words of the job done.
Sewn of faux fur, filled up with saw dust, based on split-pins.
Tinted with oil paints.
As you may see, the eyes open and close, the ears... THE EARS...
The ears - you know what they mean for each and every hare - are reinforced with special wire and may make various poses.
