My new Hippo Rosalind, sewn according to a new pattern.
The hippo is embroidered with beads, sequins and rondels - it's fantastically beautiful! He sparkles so beautifully, but at the same time, it does not prevent you from considering the texture of the material and seeing the beautiful outlines of his body.
I love the scattering of beads and I really like the decoration process itself. It's like magic! Gradually, the fabric transforms, as if a fairy waved a magic wand. But, this is a long, painstaking, albeit fascinating process.
The eyelids and nails are made of leather.
There are 5 t-shaped splints in the hippo's body.
The hippo is quite heavy ☺️
