Moana inspired tattooed Manta Ray Spirit Totem

My newest creation! I love the movie Moana and had to creat a similar Manta Ray Spirit totem. Moana's grandmother comes to her aid in the form of a manta ray, and is my favorite part of the film. Maybe the Manta Ray is your spirit totem too? Look at the video and you will see that the Manta's tattoos glow in the dark when you expose the Manta to sunlight or a UV light for a minute! It looks a lot like I'd does in the movie "Moana".

“The name of the manta—hahalua—can be interpreted as ‘two breaths,’” she says, “ha, meaning breath, and lua, meaning two … When mantas leap [out of the water], their experience from below transcends into our sphere … Their transcendence speaks to things that we don’t yet know.”

This is 100% felted wool over wire armature with glass eyes. 10 x 10 x 4 inches. Resin and acrylic base.

This is a one of a kind creation which will never be dupilcated. This means that its value as a collector piece will only increase over time.
