One of my rare wall reliefs- this multi-colored Seahorse is inspired by my very own live captive-bred and raised seahorses that I keep in an aquarium dedicated to them alone.
This piece won first prize last weekend (June 3rd-4th 2023) at the Flagstaff Wool and Fiber Festival! I was really chuffed about winning one of the top awards by the judge!

Delicate but tough in reality, seahorses are fascinating and I hope I capture some of their uniqueness in this wall relief. This seahorse is created by the needle felt method with a multi-media approach using glass, hand-dyed silk, polymer clay over a wire armature. The head and tail are bendable to a degree, but generally is a static piece.

Seahorse is 16 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 4 inches thick. It's actually felted on both sides (side that would face the wall). It will look amazing on any rather narrow wall space. Pictured on my wall painted in seafoam green.

Seahorse comes with artist tags and Certificate of Authenticity and care sheet. Completely finished for durability, and ease of handling. This is one of a kind as are all my work.
